Gil Gerald & Associates, Inc. serves community-based, non-profit organizations and federal, state, county and municipal government agencies seeking to better serve their clients in an increasingly culturally and linguistically diverse community environment.  We provide assessments and technical assistance in the areas of organizational development, strategic planning and fund development. We provide assessments and technical assistance and training in the subject area of providing cultural compentent services to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals and families.  Our services include on-site, and online training for professionals involved in the delivery of substance abuse services regarding the provision of culturally responsive services to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) individuals and families. We are particularly qualified and experienced in helping to develop organizational capacity and professional knowledge and skills to better serve clients who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, same gender loving or two-spirit (LGBT/SGL/2-S) individuals and families. 

As part of the organizational and management support we offer, we guide client organzations through technical assistance and training need assessments in the areas of program planning, fund development, and strategic planning. We identify the goals, strategies, objectives and resources to improve service outcomes. We help clients execute their plans effectively and efficiently.  Our ability to assemble a technical assistance team with the specific expertise to meet your needs will help your organization achieve the results it seeks.

Specific areas of expertise:

Gil Gerald & Associates, Inc. consulting services have an excellent track record in providing technical assistance and training to health and behavioral health organizations, and for providing training courses for professionals within these organizations through our LGBT-TRISTAR services. We also have more than two decades of experience assisting non-profit organizations and health departments through program development, consultations in support of community planning, and grant writing services to secure public and private sector grants, particularly for organizations focusing on HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment services, primary medical care, and alcohol and other drug use prevention, treatment or recovery support services.
