LGBTQ Reducing Disparities Project Survey
The LGBTQ Reducing Disparities Project, funded with California Prop 63 funds, is seeking to reach and invite as many lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning Californians as possible to take the Project's anonymous on-line survey. The Project has an ambitious goal of 2500 completed surveys by Oct 31st - a goal that can be reached with the help of members of the California LGBTQ communities, families, allies and organizations that reach and serve this population. This survey is for any Californian who is or might be LGBTQ, as well as parents/guardians of LGBTQ individuals. The project seeks to reach people whose cultural, ethnic, and racial community traditions have other ways of describing sexual orientation and gender identity, such as same-gender-loving and Two-Spirit. To help support this effort, targeted individuals should complete the survey. Additionally, everyone can help by forwarding this information to someone they know who is part of the LGBTQ community in California. A flyer can be downloaded for distribution to targeted individuals. Available flyers include one developed with assistance from the Project's African American Advisory Group for use in recruitment efforts. The Project has as one of its objectives to show the true diversity of California in this survey.
